  • About this program:
  • Mentoring continues to stand out as one of the most valuable developmental tools that organizations can offer. We at McCarthy Tétrault invest in mentoring throughout the year with a special celebration in May that is dedicated as Mentoring Month. This year our Mentoring Month program Mentoring in the Moment will explore how particular situations present immediate opportunities to develop or enable people be they direct reports, teams or co-workers more generally. Our experience tells us that success using this approach comes from a commitment to a three point framework:

    ¬ Recognition of the opportunity

¬ Responsibility for enabling the individual

¬ Responsiveness to the individual’s learning

Join our in-house talent advisor Kathy Conway and a panel of experts with diverse backgrounds for a rich and entertaining discussion. Drawing on their mentoring experiences - some within formal mentoring relationships, others outside of them, and some simply organic - they will share their stories and best practices on how to make the most of those ‘teachable’ moments.
